Specialties: Family Law

Amy Rodney became a partner of Conner, Lawrence, Rodney, Olhiser & Barrett in 1989 and specializes in Family Law, which she’s been practicing in Sonoma County since 1980. Her first priority is helping her clients find the approach that best suits their needs and then working to tailor solutions for each client. Like all of the partners, Amy finds that compassion and dignity are key to good results in alternatives to litigation in family cases, and utilizes mediation, collaborative practice, and consultation for settlement. She’s very often appointed by the court to represent children and is available as a parenting coordinator in parenting disputes.

For more than 30 years, Amy’s been involved in mediation and actively participated in the local community as both a professional and an educator. She graduated first in her class from Golden Gate University and is on the board of the statewide collaborative organization, a three-time Family Law steering committee member, and a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association. She has frequently been named a Northern California Super Lawyer in Family Law. Additionally, she’s one of the people responsible for bringing Kids’ Turn to Sonoma County and a member and former president of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire.

Family is important to Amy, and she loves spending time with her only child. She also enjoys traveling, ballet, hiking, baseball, and camping.
